Mission and Vision
The Children’s Hospital in Šentvid pri Stični is a healthcare institution specializing in rehabilitating chronically ill children aged 0 to 19 years, covering all medical conditions.
In addition to treating the illness itself, our goal is to prepare the children for life with a chronic disease, equipping them with a positive self-image and self-respect. Primary school education is also provided. Through this comprehensive approach, the child learns to balance their medical condition with everyday responsibilities.
In addition to the medical staff required for treatment and care, the interdisciplinary team consist of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, speech therapists, social workers, psychologists, and psychotherapists. These professionals work together in a multidisciplinary team tailored to each child.
